Jennifer is an experienced tutor serving the Tampa Bay area.
She is a state certified teacher, and holds an
American Montessori Society teaching credential.

Jennifer has spent the past 15 years teaching and tutoring students (ranging from elementary through adults), in almost every imaginable educational setting: one-on-one tutoring, private schools, public schools, Montessori schools, tutoring centers, teacher-education centers… even the education department of the zoo!

Jennifer is dedicated, passionate, reliable, creative, and professional. She uses a variety of modes of learning, and many hands-on manipulative materials. She often uses Montessori materials with students (even those who have never experienced Montessori education before).

Jennifer’s specialty is helping students to really UNDERSTAND the concepts, rather than just ‘here are the steps to get the answer’ like textbooks (and many tutors) often teach.

She is available to meet with students at their home, her home, or a neutral location.
