Frequently Asked Questions
Generally, you have a phone conversation with Jennifer first, where we talk about the child's needs and the basics of tutoring with Seeds of Knowledge. Next, Jennifer will email you a New Client Packet, which includes a Client Information Form, which you fill out and email back. Then we set up a complementary consultation with the parent and the child. At that meeting, we will determine if it is a good fit, decide on a schedule, and take payment.
We prefer cash or check, however, if necessary, we can take PayPal or Venmo. At this time, we do not accept credit cards.
In general, we provide individual tutoring. If a family has two children, or if two families wish to be tutored together, and Jennifer agrees that it would be appropriate for the children to receive tutoring together, it is possible. If two students are sharing a session, the fee will be 1.5 times the fee posted on the rate card.
